3rd International Youth Forum on Soil and Water Conservation (3rd IYFSWC) will be hosted by the faculty of Natural Resources and Marine Science, Tarbiat Modares University, IRAN (during May 16-21, 2021).

The main theme of the conference is Soil and Water Conservation under Changing Environments. The conference has already received valuable support from the World Association of Soil and Water Conservation (WASWAC) as the oldest worldwide academic society in the field of soil and water conservation. The aim of WASWAC is to promote the wise use of management practices that will improve and safeguard the quality of land and water resources so that they continue to meet the needs of agriculture, society and nature.
Sub-themes are Smart SWC, Adaptive SWC, Youth Roles in SWC, Climate Change and SWC, SWC in Developing Countries, Performance Evaluation of SWC Projects, and Impacts and Possible Solutions of COVID-19 Pandemic on SWC Practices.

The World Association of Soil and Water Conservation (WASWAC), as a worldwide academic society, was established in the USA in August 1983. The WASWAC secretariat, initially located at the Soil and Water Conservation Society (SWCS), Iowa, USA, was moved on 1 April 2003 to the International Center for Research and Training on Seabuckthorn (ICRTS), Beijing, China.
