National Tree Planting Day Celebrated at TMU

Mohammadzadeh, the vice chancellor for Support & Human Resources said that there were presently four thousand different types of trees in the campus, and this year, more than 350 olive trees were planted near the newly-built parking lot and Administration Building. He also added that more than 200 trees such as boxwood, and 500 flower vases such as red rose, violet etc have been planted in the campus areas.

He also referred to the new irrigation system deployed at the campus and the green house established at TMU to breed its own flowers and seedlings, an issue which has led to the saving of 70 million Tomans.

The impressive tree planting day is held every year at TMU, in which authorities and students actively participate to show their respect for the environment.
