TMU student among the winners of the "Royan" International Congress

In the last series of Royan Congress, which was held in the presence of the Research and Technology's Deputy Minister of the Health Ministry, the head of Jihad-e-Daneshgahi, the head of Royan Research Institute and the head of the Scientific Association of Reproduction and Infertility, a number of Royan researchers and sponsors companies were honored. Researchers from various countries such as the United States, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Australia, Spain, Finland, New Zealand, China, Indonesia, Singapore, and Canada lectured virtually at the event.



The 21st Medical International Reproductive Congress of "Royan", the 16th International Congress of Biology and Stem Cell Technology, and the 15th Nursing and Midwifery Seminar were held online at the Royan Research Institute from September 2 to 6, 2020.


Royan Institute is an Iranian clinical, research and educational institute dedicated to biomedical, translational and clinical research, stem cell research and infertility treatment. It is a public non-profitable organization affiliated to the academic center for education, Culture and Research. It was established in 1991 by the late Dr. Saeid Kazemi Ashtiani as a research institute for Reproductive Biomedicine and infertility treatments. In 1998 this institute was approved by the Ministry of Health as a Cell based research center with over 46 scientific members and 186 lab technicians.
